Ring of Kerry
If you want to experience the raw natural beauty of Kerry at first hand ,then a trip around the beautiful Ring of Kerry from Killarney is a must. The circular route, which covers about 170km, boasts some of the most breathtaking scenery your ever likely to see. ( tours can be arranged collected and dropped off from Burkes Mulbur House).

All merchandise is discounted and explore the selection of stores including Irelands first Nike Factory Store and also a Blarneys Woollen Mills Outlet Store. Mrs Courtney’s Tea Rooms
Mrs Courtney’s tearooms 5 mins drive from Burke’s Mulbur House is a real magical gem .Experience the China tea sets, the old fashioned embroidered tablecloths, beautiful cupcakes and butterfly buns, and a delightful selection of teas. An idyllic little place for those with a sweet tooth!
Louis Mulcahy Pottery
It is located in the west on the Slea Head route outside Dingle town which is just over an hours drive from Killarney .
Louis work reflects the scale and wonderful colours of the Peninsula. The stunning collection from Ireland’s most celebrated pottery runs from small items such as eggcups and nightlights to enormous signature pieces that are exported around the world. In the summer months you can even test your own pottery skills by crafting with one of the team.

Siamsa Tire (the National Folk Theatre) is located in Tralee which is 20 minutes from our home and performs an extensive programme of Traditional Music, song and dance.

INEC
This is 10 minutes drive from our home. The Venue opened in 2000 and is now one of Irelands leading entertainment venues.
The INEC has hosted many world famous artists including Steroephonics, Morrissey and David Gray.
Crag Cave
Discover the magic and beauty of Crag Caves which are said to be over 1million years old.
This is a mysterious ‘subterranean garden’ where you get to explore the wonderland stalagmites and stalactites; you can also relax in the new café before experiencing the indoor adventure Crazy cave.
It is situated in the town of Castleisland which is no more than 20 minutes drive from The Killarney .
Boat trips
Take an adventure on a boat through the famous and enchanting lakes. We particularly recommend the cruise of Lough Lein on the Lily of Killarney.
There is an onboard commentary on the history and lore of the lakes. Notable landmarks include Innisfallen Island, on which are the ruins of a medieval
Monastery, Ross Island with its 4,000 year old copper-mines, and the oakwoods at Tomies Mountain. There are daily sailings from Ross Castle.
Equestrian
Killarney offers a wide choice of Equestrian options, from organised riding and treks with one of its many Equestrian Centres. To the less formal mountain rides through the magnificent Gap of Dunloe.
